Dear Connecting Math Classes:
From Crossroads Middle School, New York City
(from Aqil, Erick, Angel, Chifon, Christopher, Keke, Cynthia and Joseph)

Greetings from New York City!

We found these prices by visiting grocery stores, markets, and corner stores around our school. The prices were not all the same. The corner stores cost the most because they are not big supermarkets and so they raise their prices. Also we noticed that the prices are more when there is a name brand because people think the name brand has the best stuff so they charge more. Also the prices here depend on what day you go shopping. Some days there are sales and the prices go lower.
Thank you!
