Hola
amigos y amigas, este es nuestro segundo año de participación
y nos satisface mucho participar en este proyecto con todos
vosotros. En nuestro grupo somos pocos, pero alegres i nos gusta
pasarlo en grande todos juntos, estamos muy unidos. Os invitamos
a visitar nuestra presentación individual que hicimos el pasado
curso 2001-2002 de este mismo proyecto. (Vean abajo.)
Antes
de despedirnos os diremos alguna cosa de nuestro pueblo: No
es precisamente grande per es un pueblo con corazon. Solo somos
5200 habitantes pero eso es bueno, pues tenemos confianza en
mucha gente, nos conocemos mas.
El
pueblo tiene un castillo medieval, que ahora esta convertido
en hotel, pero aun se pueden visitar algunas partes, especialmente
la iglesia romanica.
También
hay una mina de sal que esta cerrada pero en ella han echo un
museo, aprovechando la montaña de sal. Si una montaña de sal,
una maravilla natural que va creciendo (la sal aflora a la superficie
por una falla rota -diapiro-) y da unas formas muy bonitas.

friends, this is our second year of participation and we are
very happy to be part of this group project with all of you.
We may be small in this group, but we are happy and we enjoy
celebrating it big with all of you together since we are very
unified. We invite you to read the individual introductions
that we did last year (2001-2002) in the Connecting Math to
Our Lives project. (See below.)
Before
we bid you good-bye we want to tell you something about our
town: It is not exactly big, but it is a town with a big heart.
The town has only 5,200 inhabitants, which is good because it
means that there is trust among the people and we get the opportunity
to get to know each other better.
Architecturally,
our town has a medieval castle that is now converted into a
hotel, but other places are still open to visitors especially
the Roman Church.
There
is also a salt mine that is closed off but they took advantage
of the salt mountain and turned it into a museum. An entire
mountain or salt! It is a fabulous natural sight that keeps
on growing (the salt floats to the surface through a crack and
creates many beautiful and different shapes).

estudiantes de 14 y 15 años de la Escola Mare de Déu del Carme
de Cardona, Cataluña.
Nota de los coordinadores: Los estudiantes del
Colegio Mare de Déu del Carme les invitan a las otras clases
en el proyecto a responder a las preguntas que ellos han hecho
en sus presentaciones.
Presentación del grupo:
Somos un grupo de chicas y chicos de la clase
de 3º de E.S.O. (Educación Secundaria Obligatoria). En mí
clase hay 28 brazos. ¿Cuántos alumnos hay en mí clase? Mí
clase está formada por 3x3 chicas y el doble de 2'5 chicos.
La clase tiene forma hexagonal, con 6 ventanas. Cada alumno
tiene una mesa y sobren 3. ¿Cuántas mesas hay? La media de
la altura de los alumnos de nuestra clase es de 1m y 69 cm.
Nuestra escuela se encuentra en Cardona , un pueblo del centro
de Cataluña (España). La latitud en que se encuentra Cardona
es de 1º 40' E y la longitud es de 41º 50' N. Nuestro colegio
se llama "Col·legi Mare de Déu del Carme". La clase de matemáticas
nos la hace un profesor, llamado Moisès. Hacemos matemáticas
los lunes de 09:30 hasta las 10:30, los martes de las 12:00
hasta a las 13:00 y los jueves de las 09:30 hasta las 10:30.
Hemos hecho las unidades de los números enteros, los números
racionales, los números reales y las ecuaciones de primer
grado. Ahora estamos haciendo la unidad de ecuaciones con
dos incógnitas.

Me llamo Montserrat Camprubí Graell.
Mi edad es del doble de 7.
Mi altura es de 1m y 67cm.
Mi peso es de diez veces 4, más el doble de 3.5 Kg
Nací el día 25-5-1987.
En estos momentos estoy haciendo 3º de Educación
Secundaria Obligatoria. Calzo el número 10 por 3 más 8. No
me gustan las matemáticas y creo que la geometría no sirve
para nada.

Tengo 14 años, nací el día 18-5-1987.
Mi altura es de 169 cm.
Estoy haciendo 3º de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria.
Mi peso es de 55 Kg De punta de un dedo de la mano hasta la
punta de otro dedo de la otra mano mide 160cm.
Calzo un 41.
Me gustan las matemáticas porqué creo que son muy importantes.

En la mitad de los dedos de mis manos llevo anillos.

Estoy haciendo 3º de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Las
matemáticas no me gustan mucho porque las encuentro aburridas.
Me gustan más los temas de números que no los de geometría.
Me llamo Cristina Mitjans Guerrero. Tengo 14
años y mido 1.70. Me llevo 28 años con mis padres, vivo en
un piso en 3ª planta 1ª puerta, el número es el 17. Mis números
preferidos son el 2 y el 8. Mi cumpleaños es el 30 del 9,
y mi santo el día 24 del 6. Nací en el año 1987. Calzo el
número 37 de pie. Siempre llevo 3 anillos y una pulsera en
la mano. Para ir al colegio salgo de mi casa a las 8:15h y
por la tarde a las 14:45h. Estoy estudiando 3º de ESO (Educación
Secundaria Obligatoria). Para mi, la clase de matemáticas
es aquella hora tan aburrida de todas las asignaturas pero
a pesar de todo, me gusta como realiza las clases nuestro
profesor.

las matemáticas pero algunos temas no los entiendo.

el triple de mi edad menos 1 . Mi madre también tiene 41 años
y con mi hermano me llevo 5 años que por lo tanto son 14 menos

mi las matemáticas no me gustan mucho pero las encuentro muy
útiles en la vida . El tema que más me gusta que vamos a hacer
por segunda vez son los porcentajes.

que tiene el doble de 4, más la de mi hermano que tiene 1,5

mi edad. Mi peso es la suma de las edades de mis padres y
la suma de las edades de yo, la de mi hermana y la de mi hermano
menos la edad de la mi hermana. ¿Cuándo peso? (La edad de
mis padres son de 38 i 41) A mi las mates me gustan, aunque
depende de que hagamos.

tengo ahora? Hago 1.56 metros de altura, restando 2 años,
que es la edad de mi primo, a la edad de mi padre que es 41
y después sumamos lo que da mi altura menos 0.06 cm da el
número de pie que tengo. No me gustan las matemáticas por
que tengo que pensar, solo las ecuaciones.
Me llamo Raquel Segura. Mido 1.73 y peso 10
veces 5 +4. Llevo gafas. Tengo una hermana que tiene 21 años,
mi madre 42 y mi padre 43.Yo tengo 14 años. ¿Me sabrías decir
cuantos años me llevo con mi hermana? ¿Cuantos años es más
grande mi madre? ¿Y con mi padre? Este año estoy haciendo
3.E.S.O (EDUCACION SECUNDARIA OBLIGATORIA). A mí no me gustan
mucho, porqué son muy aburridas.

de 43 años, la edad de mi madre es de 38 y lo restamos a la
edad de mi hermano Alberto y ya sabrás mi edad. Las mates
no me gustan nada, ni el pimiento, porqué me aburren mucho.
