Quisiera compartir con todos ustedes que me siento muy complacida de participar en este proyecto donde nuestros estudiantes pueden intercambiar conocimientos, experiencias y cultura para así enriquecer su educación. La red nos presenta una increíble y riquísima fuente para realizar este intercambio, sobre todo, porque van a participar estudiantes de una gran diversidad de países y culturas que, de otra forma, no podrían comunicarse de una forma tan efectiva y rápida. Habrá estudiantes de una gran diversidad de entornos, donde, independientemente del tipo de escuela donde estudien, de que vivan en una ciudad grande o un pequeño pueblo, del idioma, raza o religión, nos comunicaremos todos como iguales para dar a conocer aquellos aspectos tan significativos de cada uno de nosotros.Nuestros estudiantes del Colegio Emil Friedman están entusiasmados con comunicarse con estudiantes de otros países y entornos y aprender de ellos. Comenzó como una academia de música y ahora integra las materias académicas con la música. El lema del colegio es No Hay Cultura Sin Cultura Musical. Nosotros pensamos que nuestro colegio es muy bueno pues abarca materias (como la música) que no incluyen otros colegios. Es muy grande y lo tienen bien cuidado, tiene grandes espacios de juego, una piscina en la que nos enseñan natación y se hacen competencias, canchas de futbolito, de voley-ball y básquet. Tiene 3 edificios para las diferentes etapas de aprendizaje, desde preescolar hasta quinto año de bachillerato. Lo más importante es que tiene un conservatorio donde hay varios cubículos donde estudiamos música. Tiene una sala llamada "Mozart" donde se realizan los mini conciertos y a veces nos dan charlas y un teatro donde se realizan conciertos de mayor importancia y actos y un edificio con salones de música y ajedrez, parque para pre-escolar, laboratorios para las clases, salas de pinturas, salones de música, salas de talleres, patio cívico, patio del estudiante, biblioteca, salas de computación, una cantina donde venden alimentos y un comedor, un huerto, estacionamientos, recepción, dirección y mucho mas. En la hora de clase que es de 7:30 a 2:30 uno ve clases de ingles, deporte, natación, pintura, ajedrez, flauta, solfeo, cuatro (instrumento nacional, más pequeño que una guitarra y con sólo cuatro cuerdas). En la tarde dan clases especiales de ingles, ajedrez, natación, deportes, ballet y clases de música. El colegio se destaca en música clásica y folclórica y deportes, incluyendo natación. La parte musical nos brinda una gran ventaja y diversas opciones. Aparte de las clases obligatorias, se puede estudiar instrumentos musicales como violín , cello, viola, bajo, instrumentos de vientos, percusión, arpa, piano, etc. También formar parte de las orquestas de cuerdas (tenemos 6), ensambles de vientos (hay 2) y coros como: Corito (preescolar) ,Coro 1°(primero y segundo grado), Coro2°(tercero y cuarto)y La Coral (de quinto adelante). Este año en 6 grado A nos tocó la profesora Jannette Ray, nosotros opinamos de ella que es una excelente profesora y nos va a preparar muy bien para bachillerato.El colegio Emil Friedman es muy bueno por su calidad de cultura como la música, el deporte, el rendimiento académico de sus alumnos y la capacidad de sus maestros. Es muy amplio y seguro, su clima es muy fresco. Hay mucho compañerismo entre los alumnos y los profesores. El colegio tiene como 1799 alumnos. Nuestro colegio se llama Emil Friedman y tiene 52 años de fundado. El nombre se debe a su fundador, Emil Friedman, quien lastimosamente falleció el año escolar pasado a los 93 años de edad. El profesor Friedman, un profesor muy importante para la música (era violinista), nació en la Checoslovaquia y nos dejó cosas muy importantes que aprender. Nuestro colegio es diferente por la música, es tanto musical como académico. Aparte de las materias de estudio, estudiamos música, la mayoría de los estudiantes toca un instrumento, de cuerda como violín, cello, o de viento como flauta trasversa, trompeta, etc. Todos estudiamos solfeo, flauta dulce y cuatro, que es el instrumento nacional y se parece a una guitarra pero más pequeña y con cuatro cuerdas. También tenemos deportes como natación, voleyball, basketball y futbolito en los que nos hemos destacado y ganado muchas medallas de oro. También tenemos clases de inglés. Lo mejor es que tenemos muy buenos profesores. Nuestro colegio tiene un buen nivel académico. Comprende todos los niveles de un colegio (preescolar, primaria y secundaria). En preescolar y primaria hay cuatro secciones por cada grado y en secundaria hay tres secciones. Somos aproximadamente 1700 alumnos y 300 profesores. En sexto grado somos más de 140 alumnos y en sexto grado B somos 37. Estamos estudiando los números romanos. El colegio tiene buenas instalaciones: piscina, canchas de futbolito, básquet y voleyball, cantina, biblioteca, salas de computación, salón de ajedrez, teatro y un conservatorio de música con salones para música y para ensayos de orquestas y corales. Además tres edificios donde están los salones de clases. Como hay muchos alumnos que estudian música, tenemos, según las edades, 6 orquestas, dos ensambles de vientos y cuatro coros que ensayan dentro del horario escolar y las más avanzadas también en la tarde. En quinto y sexto grado, mientras ensayan las orquestas hay talleres para los demás alumnos de: cocina, ajedrez, cerámica, telar, manualidades, percusión y cosas del hogar. Nuestro colegio se encuentra en Caracas, la capital de Venezuela, un país muy peculiar, ubicado al norte de Sur América. Nuestros límites son Brasil, Colombia, Mar Caribe y Océano Atlántico. Venezuela es muy hermosa y muy verdosa. Tiene playas bellísimas ya que tenemos el Mar Caribe, tiene islas, llanos, montañas, ríos, selva. Venezuela es un gran país rico en petróleo pero también tiene pobreza. Nuestras comidas tradicionales son el pabellón criollo, las arepas, las cachapas, etc., el deporte nacional es el baseball, y es muy típico entre su música la gaita navideña, con la cual en sexto grado en nuestro colegio se hace un concurso de gaitas en diciembre. Para nosotros la música es muy importante ya que en este colegio se dice que "No Hay Cultura Sin Cultura Musical";. Para nosotros el colegio es una parte muy importante de nuestras vidas porque cada día se aprende algo nuevo y nos gusta mucho nuestro colegio. Aquí todo el mundo ayuda y colabora. Nuestro colegio es muy bueno porque tiene muy buena educación, es muy amplio y completo. Tenemos una gran cantidad de alumnos, profesores y actividades tanto deportivas como musicales, recreativas y culturales, como ven, tiene muchas ventajas. En nuestro colegio hay equipos de natación, futbolito, basketball y voleyball. Tiene muy buenas instalaciones como piscina, canchas deportivas y un conservatorio en el cual recibimos clases de música y canto con profesores profesionales. Tiene tres edificios de clases con muchos salones grandes y espaciosos, biblioteca, comedor y un teatro. También tenemos clases de computación, pintura, inglés y todas las materias básicas como matemática, lenguaje, proyecto, aprender a pensar, etc. Una gran parte de los alumnos pertenece a las orquestas formadas por instrumentos de cuerdas como violín, cellos, violas y contrabajos (tenemos 6), ensambles de vientos y percusión (hay 2) y coros (son 4). Algunos de nosotros tocamos violín, violoncello, viola, flauta trasversa, oboe, piano, percusión orquestal. Otros se dedican a talleres de cocina, telar, manualidades y otros. Nos gustaría saber si ustedes tocan algún instrumento o si les gusta alguno. También deseamos compartir nuestros conocimientos y experiencias con ustedes.Vivimos en Caracas, una ciudad muy bonita, la capital de Venezuela, un país lleno de riquezas naturales y con mucho petróleo. Tiene muchos lugares turísticos ya que tenemos playas hermosas, selvas, montañas nevadas, llanos, etc. Les sugerimos que vengan a Venezuela a disfrutar de nuestros paisajes y playas. Nuestro fundador y anterior director fue el Prof. Friedman a quien llamábamos abuelito Friedman, un gran hombre nacido en Checoslovaquia, que falleció por problemas de salud el pasado 24 de Abril con 93 años de edad. Nuestro presente director es Pablo Argüello. El estudio y la música juntos forman un colegio muy hermoso. Su lema, que te lo queremos transmitir es "NO HAY CULTURA SIN CULTURA MUSICAL" .Nuestro colegio queda en Caracas nuestra ciudad capital. Es mixto, muy grande y es desde preescolar hasta quinto año de bachillerato, con cuatro secciones de 34 personas cada uno y tres secciones en los grados superiores. Su especialidad es la música ya que enseña muchos instrumentos. Pero no solo enseña música, sino también deporte al igual que educación. Nuestro colegio tiene un excelente equipo de natación que varía desde los 6 años hasta los 18. Hemos ganado bastantes premios y copas desde que se fundó el equipo. Nuestro colegio es grande tiene 3 edificios con salones de clases, un conservatorio en el cual nos enseñan música .Tiene una piscina , canchas de volleyball , basketball y futbolito, cantina, talleres, sala de computación, biblioteca, etc. Tiene un teatro muy grande en el cual se hacen actos muy seguidos así sean obras, conciertos y celebraciones. También hay una sala que se llama Sala Mozart la cual tiene la misma función que el teatro solo que dan conciertos o recitales mas pequeños. Tiene muchas actividades como: natación, deporte, música, computación, talleres (cerámica, telar, cocina, ajedrez, y percusión), biblioteca, ajedrez, inglés, pintura, cuatro. Venezuela es un país muy rico en cultura, tradiciones y folklore. Sus paisajes son hermoso, tiene una naturaleza muy rica. Su punto fuerte es el petróleo, y la comida es unas de las comidas mas exóticas de toda América. Venezuela tiene mucha diversidad de climas con sus montañas, llanuras y muchas cosas más que verán en nuestros trabajos, se les quiere mucho. Tenemos sitios muy bonitos y turísticos como: La Gran Sabana en el estado Bolívar, montañas en el Estado Mérida , Maracaibo en el Zulia , Táchira, la cueva del Guácharo, etc. El Amazonas es una selva muy hermosa, donde hay indígenas que desarrollan su arte amazónico, ó sea, dibujos en madera, pulseras de las grandes plantas del Amazonas. Ella tiene muchos animales exóticos, entre ellos están: la piraña y la guacamaya real. Venezuela tiene la caída de agua mas alta del mundo, el Salto Ángel. Nuestro país es caracterizado por tener un clima muy tropical, ya que nos encontramos a la altura del trópico. También tenemos unas playas increíbles donde gente de todo el mundo viene solo para disfrutar sus vacaciones en nuestras playas.La capital de Venezuela es Caracas y nuestro país tiene 24 estados. Nuestras comidas típicas son: el pabellón, las arepas, y en Navidad las hallacas. En Venezuela nació el libertador Simón Bolívar que libertó a muchos países de América del Sur. Pienso que la matemática es divertida y con muchos signos y a veces muy raros que te confunden. It was founded 52 years ago. It is named after the person who founded it, Emil Friedman, who unfortunally died last school year at the age of 93. Professor Friedman, a very important teacher for the music (he was a violinist), was born in Checoslovaquia and left us very important things to learn. Our school is different because of the music. It is musical and academic. Besides the regular subjects of study, we learn music. Most of the students play an instrument, string instrument like violin, violoncello, or wind instrument like flute, trumpet, etc. We all study the basics of music, sweet flute and "cuatro", which is the national instrument, similar to a guitar but smaller and with only four strings. We have also sports like swimming, volleyball, basketball and mini-football. We have won many gold medals in them. We also have English classes. The best part is that we have very good teachers. Our school has a very good academic level. It has all the different stages of school (preschool, primary and secondary). In preschool and primary there are four groups for each grade, and in secondary there are three. We are around 1700 students and 300 teachers. Our school is located in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, a very peculiar country, located at the north of South América, Our limits are Brasil, Colombia, Caribbean sea and Atlantic ocean. Venezuela is beautiful and very green. It has beautiful beaches because we have the Caribbean Sea. It has islands, plains, mountains, rivers, jungles. Venezuela is a great country, rich in oil, but it also has poverty. Music is very important to us and our school motto explains it well, "There is no culture without cultural music". We like our school a lot and we feel it's an important part of our lives because each day we learn something new. Everyone here helps each other and collaborates. Our school is very good because it offers a good education; it's spacious and complete. We have a large student body, many teachers and activities to participate in such as sports, recreation, musical and cultural activities. As you can see we have many advantages. Our school also has a swim team, soccer, basketball, and volleyball team. It has very good facilities like a swimming pool, a sports field, and a conservatory where we have music classes and choir with professional teachers. It has three buildings with many classes that are spacious, a library, cafeteria, and a theater. We also have computer, painting and English classes besides all the academic subjects as math, languaje, proyects, learning to think, etc. A great part of the students belongs to the orchestras of stringed instruments (we have 6), wind instruments (there are 2) and choirs(there are 4). A country rich with it's nature and with a lot of oil. It has many tourist places because we have beautiful beaches, jungles, mountains with snow, plains, etc. We may suggest that you come to Venezuela to enjoy our landscape and beaches. It has many exotic animals. Venezuela has the highest waterfall in the world: the Angel Fall. Our country has a tropical weather because we are located at the tropic. We also have incredible beaches and people from all over the world come only to enjoy their vacations at our beaches. Venezuela capital is Caracas, and we have 24 states. Our tipical foods are: "pabellón";," arepas"; and "hallacas"; in Christmas.Simón Bolívar, the liberator, was born in Venezuela. He liberated many South American countries.
