I'm very excited about iearn! We're looking at maps and finding
out where our partners live. I work with all the
classrooms and am coordinating the projects. I would love to have
a sister class to work with on Connecting
Math to our Lives. A Spanish speaking or bilingual class would be
ideal.
A math project we did this year that was really fun was
geometry - making all kinds of polyhedrons out of
paper plates, straws, toothpicks and modeling clay. They are
hanging on mobiles all over my room! We could
start with a simple project like using math in our daily lives.
I have two 2nd grade classes who might be
interested in collaborating with a sister class. Thank you again
for your interest in helping us get started.
